Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in a 1:1 patient ratio within a 15-bed operating room unit
- Perform scrub and/or circulating duties as required throughout surgical procedures
- Fulfill on-call requirements of one to two call shifts per week, each consisting of 8-hour call shifts
- Float to an affiliated surgery center as needed
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Pennsylvania
- Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to fulfill on-call and float requirements as outlined
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with Cerner EMR
- Experience working in a high-volume or multi-specialty surgical environment
