Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Mid Shift (2:30 PM – 1:00 AM) | Projected Start: September 22, 2026 | Flexible scheduling available with either 4x10s or 3x12s; requires one late night per week, one 8-hour Saturday every 4th week, and one 8-hour call shift per month on Saturday or Sunday; 30-minute on-call response time required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients in a high-volume operating room environment with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Support and assist with a broad range of surgical procedures including orthopedics, cardiothoracic, vascular, neurology, GYN, urology, general surgery, plastics, spine, trauma, TAVR, MAKO, and DaVinci robotic cases
• Operate and assist with advanced surgical technology including DaVinci Robotics (SI and XI models) and MAKO robotic systems
• Document patient care accurately using the facility's electronic medical record system
• Communicate effectively with surgical staff, surgeons, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure patient safety and care continuity
• Fulfill on-call obligations in accordance with unit scheduling requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care OR RN experience in a hospital setting
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with DaVinci Robotic surgical systems
• Orthopedic, neurology, and vascular surgical experience highly preferred
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
