Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care for liver transplant patients in the operating room setting
• Perform and respond to on-call duties as required by the unit
• Complete required specialty-specific modules prior to start and annually as directed
• Maintain compliance with annual hands-on competency requirements for continuous contract staff
• Adhere to a strict no call-in policy within a smoke-free facility environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Florida
• Operating Room experience with liver transplant or solid organ transplant background
• Must pass EKG and Pharmacology assessments during orientation (maximum 2 attempts each; no remediation permitted)
• Must provide 2 professional references from a direct supervisor, manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, or Director for the unit being submitted to at time of submission
• Time-off requests must be submitted at the time of submission; requests sent after submission will not be reviewed
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a high-acuity surgical or transplant setting
• Familiarity with compliance-driven hospital environments and structured orientation processes
• Experience completing pre-start online learning modules within specified timeframes
