Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled perioperative nursing care in a general OR setting across a range of surgical specialties
- Perform circulating RN duties throughout surgical procedures
- Support robotic-assisted surgical cases as needed
- Participate in an on-call rotation, with an expected 4–5 weekday call shifts and 2–3 weekend call shifts per month (7a–7p or 7p–7a on Saturday or Sunday); call-back response expected within 30 minutes
- Document patient care accurately using the Cerner EMR system
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in the state of Arizona
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience
- Demonstrated circulating experience in the OR
- Experience in General Surgery, GYN, and Urology
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with robotic-assisted surgical procedures
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR
- Ability to adapt to fluctuating call schedules based on departmental staffing needs
