Contract | Days | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room
- Support orthopedic and neurological surgical cases, as well as a broad range of OR procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Perform scrub and/or circulating duties as required by the surgical team
- Maintain accurate intraoperative documentation and adhere to facility protocols and standards of care
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or a valid Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 18 months of OR specialty experience within the past 3 years
- Strong orthopedic and neurological surgical experience, as well as well-rounded OR skills
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local travelers will not be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-volume or specialty surgical environment
- Familiarity with a wide variety of surgical service lines beyond orthopedics and neurology
