Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards
• Accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others under their direction
• Utilize specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills to assess data and plan, provide, and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties across a range of surgical specialties including GYN, bariatrics, vascular, orthopedics, neurology, and plastics
• Maintain compliance with all facility vaccination and documentation requirements prior to start

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Maryland (Nursys verification must be less than 30 days old)
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent General OR experience required
• Experience in GYN, bariatrics, vascular, orthopedics, neurology, and plastics required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Must be willing to work the facility's schedule without scheduling restrictions
• COVID vaccination required - declinations are not accepted; must be a state record
• Flu vaccination required - declinations are not accepted
• Locals are welcome - no radius rule applies

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Broad surgical specialty experience across multiple OR service lines
• Familiarity with reverse invoicing timekeeping processes
• Strong adaptability to facility scheduling needs and workflows
