Key Responsibilities
Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a main operating room environment with 16 surgical suites operating 24/7
Deliver 1:1 patient care with a focus on adult surgical populations
Support a wide range of surgical specialties including ENT, Ophthalmology, Urology, OBGYN, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Spine, Neurosurgery, Plastics, Robotics, Vascular, and Thoracic
Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
Fulfill one holiday requirement per contract term
Adhere to facility dress code; scrubs are provided
Required Qualifications
Active and unencumbered New York State RN License
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
Robotic surgical experience required
EPIC electronic health records experience required
Experience working primarily with adult patient populations
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior travel nursing experience
Familiarity with a high-volume, multi-specialty surgical environment
