Contract | Days | Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care within a 4-OR surgery center environment serving both pediatric and adult patients
- Support a range of surgical specialties including general surgery, GU procedures, ENT, GYN, endoscopy, and colorectal procedures
- Manage and monitor patients across 4 acute beds and 12 advanced recovery beds
- Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary surgical teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active and clear New York State RN License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be eligible for a local rate; please inquire for details
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Experience working with both pediatric and adult surgical populations
- Familiarity with a high-volume, multi-specialty OR setting
