Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday | Start Time: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Projected Start: 09/14/2026 | On-call coverage may be required to cover PTO days for the designated call team

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a 7-room OR suite serving a diverse surgical patient population including orthopedics, general surgery, urology, GYN, ENT (pediatric and adult), pain, and dental (pediatric) cases
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio throughout surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and quality care
• Operate and assist with specialized OR equipment including Hana table, trauma table, Enseal, Myosure, Novasure, Kabtec, Neoprobe, and related instrumentation
• Document accurately and efficiently using the Paragon EHR system
• Participate in occasional on-call coverage to support the designated call team during PTO periods
• Collaborate within a team-oriented, family-culture environment to support normal OR operations and block schedule case completion

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in North Carolina or a compact state
• Minimum 1 year of OR nursing experience plus at least one prior travel assignment
• Proficiency across multiple surgical specialties including C-sections, orthopedics, general surgery, urology, GYN, ENT (pediatric and adult), pain, and dental (pediatric)
• Ability to work 10-hour day shifts with on-call availability as needed
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible as a travel candidate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Paragon EHR or similar hospital information systems
• Familiarity with specialized OR equipment such as Hana table, Neoprobe, and energy-based surgical devices
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a collaborative, family-oriented team culture
