Operating Room Registered Nurse – CJRI
Location
Stafford Springs, CT
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Expected 40 hours/week (2 eight-hour shifts and 2 twelve-hour shifts per week)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled perioperative nursing care within an Operating Room setting
- Support surgical teams throughout pre-operative, intraoperative, and post-operative phases of care
- Maintain a safe and sterile surgical environment in accordance with established protocols
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Connecticut
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Operating Room clinical experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a CJRI (Center for Joint Replacement and Innovation) or orthopedic surgical setting
- Familiarity with scrub and circulating roles in the OR
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced surgical environment
