    Job Title

    RN - Outpatient / Operating Room

    Location

    Saint Helena, CA

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Days | 4x10s, Monday–Friday (rotating day off based on schedule) | Start time between 5:30 AM and 11:00 AM | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients in a fast-paced outpatient surgery and endoscopy environment according to established standards of care and the nursing process
    • Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care across disciplines
    • Support pre-op workflows including preparation of open heart and total joint patients
    • Manage PACU Phase II workflows and facilitate rapid patient turnover
    • Administer and monitor moderate sedation in accordance with clinical protocols
    • Utilize critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment throughout all phases of patient care
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in California
    • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with demonstrated endoscopy experience
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA or ARC)
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (AHA or ARC)
    • Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
    • Outpatient surgery and perioperative nursing experience
    • Experience with moderate sedation and high-volume, rapid patient turnover environments
    • Acute care facility background
