Key Responsibilities
- Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as a member of the interdisciplinary care team in the Operating Room setting
- Provide perioperative nursing care across a range of surgical specialties including orthopedic, general, robotic, spine, ENT, and gynecological procedures
- Utilize the EPIC electronic medical records system to document and manage patient care
- May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
- Adhere to mandatory reporting requirements as applicable
Required Qualifications
- Active Iowa RN license or compact nursing license (must reflect Active status)
- Active BLS certification (AHA preferred; ARC or US Military certificates also accepted)
- Active ACLS certification (AHA preferred; ARC or US Military certificates also accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Prior travel experience in an OR setting required
- Robotics experience required
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (based on driver's license)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CNOR certification preferred
- Experience across multiple surgical specialties (orthopedic, spine, robotic, ENT, GYN)
