Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | 5x8-hour shifts, Days (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM) | On-call required | Holidays required as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care in an OR/GI setting, including circulating, scrubbing, and cleaning of scopes
- Follow floating requirements to other units as needed per facility policy
- Adhere to facility scheduling requirements, including holiday coverage as assigned
- Utilize facility EMR system (Cerner) to document patient care accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Pennsylvania
- Minimum of 2 years of GI nursing experience
- Demonstrated experience in circulating, scrubbing, and cleaning of scopes
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
- Ability to fulfill on-call and holiday requirements as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in an OR or GI environment
- Comfort with floating to other units within a large inpatient facility
