Contract (13 Weeks) | Days | 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM | Onsite | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
Provide specialized perioperative nursing care within a dedicated Operating Room/Surgery Unit serving patients of all ages
Utilize Cerner EHR for accurate and timely clinical documentation
Participate in call coverage as required, including approximately 12 call shifts per month and one on-call weekend per month; must be able to respond to call within 30 minutes
Float to other areas as needed based on unit demands
Adhere to facility dress code; scrubs are provided
Required Qualifications
Active RN licensure valid in North Carolina (or compact license eligibility)
ACLS certification required prior to start
BLS certification required prior to start
CPI/HWC/MAB certification required prior to start
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a specialized Operating Room setting (this is not a floor/med-surg position)
Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with Cerner electronic health records
Familiarity with a broad surgical case mix across multiple specialties, including cardiology, orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, and urology
Ability to work every-other weekend and adapt to a flexible call schedule
