Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Travel Contract)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM | Rotating call required (one night per week minimum; one weekend per 5-week schedule minimum)
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as OR circulator in a 5-OR surgical suite performing 1:1 patient care
- Participate in rotating weeknight and weekend call coverage (one night per week minimum; one weekend per 5-week schedule minimum)
- Operate and assist with basic OR equipment including cautery, video monitors, arthroscopy equipment, and positioning equipment
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
- Collaborate with surgical technicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, efficient surgical care
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license (must meet state requirements)
- Minimum 2 years of OR circulator experience
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Ability to fulfill rotating call schedule (one night per week minimum; one weekend per 5-week schedule minimum)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in one or more of the following specialties: orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, robotics, urology, vascular, cardiovascular, neurosurgery, or thoracic surgery
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR
- Flexible, compassionate, and team-oriented approach to patient care
