Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts | 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM | Monday through Friday | Weekday, weekend, and holiday call expected | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care in an active operating room environment
- Fulfill mid-shift OR coverage from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday
- Participate in weekday, weekend, and holiday call rotations as required
- May assume charge nurse duties as needed
- Maintain compliance with all required documentation and credentialing deadlines
Required Qualifications
- Active and in-hand RN license required at time of submission
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Nursys verification required with submission
- SSNRTO required with submission
- Candidates must be available to complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting an offer, or have a documented plan in place within that timeframe
- Must reside more than 110 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
- Experience with charge nurse responsibilities in an OR setting
- Familiarity with OR-specific protocols and perioperative standards of care
