Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily operations across a 15-suite operating room environment handling 25–45 cases per day
Oversee surgical cases spanning multiple specialties including general, GYN, urology, plastics, robotics, neuro, ortho, spine, EENT, and cardiothoracic
Provide charge-level leadership and support to OR nursing staff during rotating shifts
Ensure adherence to patient safety standards, surgical protocols, and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with surgical teams and facility leadership to maintain efficient OR workflow and throughput
Required Qualifications
Current RN licensure in the state of Illinois
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
Minimum of 2–3 years of progressively responsible operating room nursing experience
Prior charge nurse or supervisory experience in an OR setting is required
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience working across multiple surgical specialties in a high-volume OR environment
Familiarity with robotic-assisted surgical procedures and advanced OR technologies
