Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR Circulator)

Contract | Days | Expected schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts, 06:30–19:00, Tuesday through Thursday
Key Responsibilities
- Perform intraoperative circulating RN duties across an 8-suite OR performing 10–15 cases per day on weekdays
- Support a wide range of surgical specialties including Orthopedics, General Surgery, Urology, and ENT
- Utilize EPIC OpTime electronic health record system for documentation and patient care coordination
- Participate in OR call coverage, including approximately one weeknight per week and one weekend approximately every 4th or 5th rotation
- Assist with holiday call coverage as needed to support the RN team
- Respond to call within 30 minutes of notification and arrive at the facility ready for duty
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Colorado
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- Must be present on-site for the full week of unit-specific orientation, even if initial modules are conducted remotely
- Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; valid driver's license must be submitted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Two or more years of intraoperative circulating RN experience, with exposure to the case types listed above
- Experience with DaVinci Xi robotic surgical cases
- Ability to scrub when the need arises (not required for RNs but considered a valuable skill)
- Strong adaptability, fast learning ability, and a hardworking approach in a high-volume OR environment
