Key Responsibilities Provide expert perioperative nursing care in a high-volume Operating Room with a focus on Gynecology and Genitourinary procedures, including Hysterectomies, Cystectomies, Colpocleisis, Hysteroscopies, Ureteroscopies, PCNLs, Nephrectomies, and Ureteral Reimplants. Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert perioperative nursing care in a high-volume Operating Room with a focus on Gynecology and Genitourinary procedures, including Hysterectomies, Cystectomies, Colpocleisis, Hysteroscopies, Ureteroscopies, PCNLs, Nephrectomies, and Ureteral Reimplants
• Operate and assist with advanced surgical equipment including Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and Intuitive Robotic systems (Da Vinci Xi)
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio within a 26-bed OR environment, delivering safe and efficient surgical nursing care across a patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Participate in call requirements, including one overnight trauma call (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM), with additional call scheduled per specialty team rules as applicable
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary surgical team across specialties including General, Ortho Trauma, Ortho Joints, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, and Endovascular
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (or eligibility to obtain licensure in Maine)
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience; at least 3 years of Level 1 Trauma center experience strongly required
• Demonstrated competency in GU/GYN surgical procedures and robotic-assisted surgery (Da Vinci Xi)
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Ability to meet weekend rotation requirements (1:4 weekends) and call obligations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CNOR certification preferred
• Experience across multiple surgical specialties including Neurosurgery, Ortho Trauma, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, and Endovascular
• Comfort working with a broad patient population from pediatric to geriatric
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment
