Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room / Circulator

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver quality nursing care through the utilization of the nursing process in an operating room setting
- Perform circulating nurse duties throughout surgical procedures across multiple specialties including Ortho, General, GYN, Urology, and Neuro
- Work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the broader surgical team to monitor patient health and safety during operations
- Maintain standards for professional nursing practice in accordance with medical center policy, mission, and regulatory guidelines
- Support a full spectrum of surgical cases across 7 operating suites using the Paragon EMR system
Required Qualifications
- Active Michigan RN license (LARA and Nursys verification required)
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience required
- Must be able to Circulate independently
- Experience with Ortho, General, GYN, Urology, and Neuro required
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
- Skills checklist completed within one year of application is required
- Must live more than 35 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard travel rates
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Trauma Level II experience preferred
- Familiarity with Paragon EMR
