Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care for assigned patients on a per-shift basis
- Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care has been delegated
- Support nursing leadership in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care
- Contribute to the competency development of clinical staff and appropriate resource management related to patient care
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Operating Room (OR) clinical experience required
- Ability to scrub and/or circulate in the OR setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in an acute care or teaching hospital environment
- Familiarity with perioperative nursing standards and best practices
