Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care across a broad range of surgical specialties including General Surgery, Neuro, Orthopedic, Vascular, and Transplant procedures
• Support high-acuity and trauma surgical cases in a Level I trauma environment with approximately 14 OR suites
• Care for adult and geriatric surgical patients throughout the perioperative continuum
• Float within scope to other like units based on facility needs
• Participate in on-call rotation as required, including weekday and weekend call shifts
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required
• Level I trauma experience required
• Experience across multiple surgical specialties required, including: Total Joint (hip and knee), Neuro (spinal fusion, craniotomy, laminectomy/discectomy), Transplant, Vascular (carotid, AV fistula, femoral-popliteal bypass, AAA), and General Surgery (appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hernia repair, laparoscopic surgery, thyroidectomy, Whipple procedures)
• Active Pennsylvania RN license required at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• PA Fingerprinting (Childline) required; must be completed within one week of contract signing
• Locals are welcome; candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible and a local rate differential applies

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC certification preferred
• Experience with Orthopedic fracture procedures and spine cases preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records preferred
