Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a high-volume Operating Room environment with a 1:1 patient ratio
- Support a broad range of surgical procedures including general, cardiovascular, orthopedic, neurosurgery, robotics, trauma, and more
- Accurately document patient care and clinical information using the Meditech documentation system
- Participate in on-call rotation as required by the department
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary surgical team in a designated trauma center setting
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Kansas or compact state eligibility
- Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
- Ability to work a set schedule including call shifts as assigned
- Proficiency or ability to quickly adapt to the Meditech documentation system
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior surgical or procedural nursing experience across multiple service lines
- Experience in a trauma center or high-acuity hospital environment
- Familiarity with robotic-assisted surgical procedures
