Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room in Northampton, MA

Schedule / Job Type Contract, Full-Time, Onsite, Days — 40 hours per week; mix of 8- and 10-hour shifts; call required (approximately three weeknights per month 5pm–7am and one weekend day per month). Key Responsibilities

• Perform the role of Circulating Nurse in the Operating Room, serving as a patient advocate for the anesthetized patient
• Provide safe and effective care to surgical patients while addressing physiologic and functional needs
• Interact appropriately with patients across a broad range of populations including pre-natal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric
• Collaborate on an inter-disciplinary level, communicating effectively based on each individual's intellectual level and physical ability

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• 1–3 years of Operating Room experience required
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
