Job TitleRegistered Nurse - Operating Room

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 4×10-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM) | On-call required (up to 4 call shifts per 4-week period) | Up to one weekend shift per 4-week period | Holiday work required
Key Responsibilities- Scrub and circulate surgical procedures across a wide range of specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics
- Function within a fast-paced, nurse-driven OR environment across 21 surgical suites within a Level I Trauma Center
- Float within scope to meet facility needs, including between like units or sister facilities as required
- Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
- Participate in on-call shifts and respond to emergency surgical needs as assigned
- Be aware that during hurricane season (June-November), contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams
Required Qualifications- Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license (SC license must be active prior to start date)
- BLS certification required
- Radiation Badge required (provided by agency)
- Experience in a Level I Trauma Center setting required
- Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; locals may be considered on a case-by-case basis
Preferred Experience / Skills- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience strongly preferred
- Scrub experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with academic or teaching hospital environments
- Experience with robotic surgical procedures or multiple surgical specialties
