Key Responsibilities
- Perform OR circulator duties across a range of surgical specialties including General, Orthopedic, Neurological, Urological, Vascular, and Bariatric procedures
- Provide endoscopy (ENDO) support as required by the surgical team
- Maintain patient safety and advocate for the patient throughout the perioperative process
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to ensure efficient OR workflow
- Document patient care accurately using electronic health record systems
- Maintain active Massachusetts RN license and current AHA BLS certification throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be provided at time of submission
- Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification — must be provided at time of submission
- Minimum 3 years of current OR circulator experience
- Endoscopy (ENDO) experience required
- Experience in General, Orthopedic, Neurological, Urological, Vascular, and Bariatric surgical specialties required
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Must have personal reliable transportation
- Candidates must be available for standard 8-hour shift scheduling; block scheduling or 10/12-hour shift accommodations are not available for this role
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Meditech Expanse electronic health record system highly preferred
- OR Circulate Skills Checklist current within the past year
- Supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment
