Key Responsibilities
Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients throughout the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases
Serve as scrub or circulating nurse during a variety of surgical procedures
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of surgical nursing care in accordance with facility policies
Ensure the operating room environment meets sterile field and infection control standards
Required Qualifications
Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington or compact licensure eligibility
Current BLS certification required; ACLS may be required
Minimum of 1–2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
Demonstrated ability to function as a circulating and/or scrub nurse
Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
Preferred Experience / Skills
CNOR certification preferred
Experience across multiple surgical specialties (orthopedic, general, laparoscopic, etc.)
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems used in a perioperative setting
