Key Responsibilities
- Perform circulating duties in the operating room across day and evening shifts
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, including one weeknight call per week and every fifth weekend
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and quality care throughout perioperative procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility protocols and standards of care
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Vermont or compact eligibility
- Operating room / circulating experience required
- Ability to participate in on-call rotation (one weeknight per week and every fifth weekend)
- Flexibility to work either a 4x10-hour shift schedule (7:00 AM–5:30 PM or 8:00 AM–6:30 PM) or a 5x8-hour shift schedule (7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, or 10:00 AM–6:30 PM)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with a broad range of surgical specialties
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Familiarity with perioperative documentation systems
