    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Travel)

    Location

    Miami, FL | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 4-Day Schedule | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform observation, assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care for all patients in an acute Operating Room setting
    • Function as both a scrub and circulating RN across all service lines, including joint replacement, ENT, orthopedics, spine, urology, vascular, podiatry, thoracic, and plastic surgery
    • Operate and utilize unit equipment including X-ray, EKG/electrocardiography, and preoperative tools; document care using Meditech EMR
    • Maintain a patient ratio of 3:1 and collaborate with charge RN, surgical techs, anesthesiologist, and clinical coordinator
    • Participate in rotating weekend coverage and fulfill on-call requirements, including weeknight, weekend, and holiday call shifts within each 4-week period
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license valid in the state of Florida
    • ACLS certification required
    • BLS certification required
    • Minimum 2 years of current, recent experience in an acute care Operating Room setting
    • Demonstrated experience in orthopedic, spine, and joint replacement procedures, including knee and hip replacement
    • Must be able to scrub and circulate across all surgical service lines
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • PALS certification
    • CNOR certification
    • Prior charge RN experience
    • Strong critical thinking skills, proficient charting, and the ability to multitask in a high-acuity surgical environment
