Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within the operating room setting throughout the surgical continuum
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the broader surgical team to ensure safe and efficient procedures
- Fulfill on-call obligations including 1 night per week and every 6th weekend on call
- Maintain accurate intraoperative documentation and adhere to facility protocols and standards of care
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa or compact state eligibility
- Operating Room clinical experience
- Ability to meet on-call requirements: 1 night per week and every 6th weekend
- Current BLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior scrub or circulating experience in a surgical setting
- Familiarity with a broad range of surgical specialties
- CNOR certification preferred
