Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled perioperative nursing care to patients throughout the surgical experience
- Perform scrub and/or circulating duties in the operating room as assigned
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical team members to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes
- Participate in every third weekend rotation as part of the standard schedule
- Participate in the holiday on-call rotation as required
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Iowa or a compact state license
- Operating Room clinical experience
- Current BLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in both scrub and circulating roles within a surgical setting
- CNOR certification preferred
- Familiarity with a variety of surgical specialties
