Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a high-volume main OR setting, including vascular/hybrid OR, trauma, and neuro procedures
- Operate and assist with advanced surgical technology including DaVinci Robotics systemsFunction effectively as a charge or trauma RN as assigned, adapting to varying staffing configurations across shifts
- Maintain a 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratio in accordance with unit standards
- Participate in on-call rotation from 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute response time requirement (no overnight on-call required)
- Document patient care accurately using the facility's EMR system (Meditech / CPN)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of current acute care Operating Room RN experience
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel experience at large trauma OR facilities
- Robotics experience (DaVinci); candidates with this skill will be given priority consideration
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
