Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care within a high-volume surgical environment
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties with primary focus on Neurosurgery and Orthopedic cases
• Support robotic-assisted surgical procedures as needed
• Demonstrate versatility across a range of surgical specialties and case types
• Fulfill on-call obligations as required by the department
• Adhere to holiday coverage expectations, including working 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Operating Room nursing
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required
• American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS certification required
• Demonstrated expertise in Neurosurgery and Orthopedic surgical cases
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic health record system
• Robotic-assisted surgical experience
• Proven ability to adapt across multiple surgical specialties as a travel nurse
