Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the circulating nurse during a full spectrum of surgical procedures including general elective and critical or life-saving surgeries
- Monitor the surgical procedure and patient health and safety throughout the entire operation
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR technicians to support optimal patient outcomes
- Assist with orthopedic procedures including hip, joint, and knee surgeries
- Maintain compliance with facility protocols and surgical safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of RN Operating Room experience
- Experience with hip, joint, and knee procedures required
- Active Michigan RN License
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Candidates with a permanent address within 35 miles of the facility are considered local travelers and may be subject to an adjusted rate structure
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Familiarity with high-volume surgical and endoscopy environments
