Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | Five 8-hour shifts per week (Monday-Friday); rotating weeknight and weekend call required. Shift hours are 6:45 AM - 3:00 PM. Block scheduling is not available for this position.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative patient care as part of the surgical team
• Participate in daily huddle at 6:45 AM to coordinate surgical team activities
• Support a range of surgical services including general, orthopedic, urology, GYN, C-sections, ophthalmology, vascular, dental, and ENT procedures
• Fulfill rotating weeknight and weekend call responsibilities as scheduled
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for patient documentation and care coordination

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Active North Carolina RN license or valid compact RN license
• ACLS and BLS certifications required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification preferred
• CNOR certification is a plus
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience across multiple surgical specialties (general, orthopedic, urology, GYN, ophthalmology, vascular, dental, and/or ENT)
