Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 4x9-hour shifts per week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care within the Operating Room setting across scheduled day shifts, Monday through Friday
- Fulfill on-call responsibilities including evening and weekend coverage; weekend call is currently scheduled Friday at 7:00 a.m. through Monday at 7:00 a.m., approximately 7 call days per month
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes throughout operative procedures
- Adhere to facility protocols, standards of care, and regulatory requirements in the OR environment
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
- Must reside at least 80 miles from the facility to be eligible for submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an Operating Room or perioperative nursing setting
- Familiarity with scrub and/or circulating roles in a surgical environment
- Ability to adapt to varied surgical specialties and case types
