Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care across a range of surgical specialties including General, Orthopedics, OB/GYN, GI, Colorectal, ENT, and Pain procedures
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR
• Participate in an on-call rotation shared among OR RNs, with an expected average of 10 call shifts per month
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes throughout the operative experience

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (State or Compact); license must be in hand at time of submittal
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Candidates residing in the following Texas counties are not eligible for this position: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris
• Previous staff must wait one year before returning in a travel capacity

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a high-volume or multi-specialty operating room environment
• Familiarity with Epic EMR in a perioperative setting
• Experience managing on-call responsibilities in a surgical setting
