Key Responsibilities
Provide direct perioperative nursing care across a high-volume, multi-specialty operating room environment with up to 13 active OR suites
Support a broad range of surgical procedures including trauma, burn, neuro, open heart, orthopedics, robotics, urology, gynecology, ophthalmology, plastics, ENT, general surgery, and more
Collaborate with surgical technologists and interdisciplinary OR teams across varying staffing levels throughout the day
Participate in rotating weekend call approximately every four weeks; call shifts may range from 2 to 12 hours and are used to fill evening and night staffing needs Monday through Thursday
Adapt to shift and call flexibility requirements while maintaining compliance with unit guidelines and AORN dress code standards
Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Idaho — must hold Idaho RN license at time of submission
Minimum 3 years of operating room experience
Trauma experience required
Demonstrated shift and call flexibility
BLS certification required
Assignment start date must be 10/26 or later — earlier start dates will not be considered
