Travel RN – Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM | Every other weekend and holidays required in rotation
Key Responsibilities
Circulate across a range of surgical specialties including Trauma, General, Orthopedic, Neuro, and Vascular procedures
Provide direct intraoperative patient care in a 12-suite OR environment, including 2 cardiovascular OR suites, maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio
Support surgical procedures including Total Joint, Orthopedic Trauma, Robotic General (including Bariatrics), Robotic Urology, Craniotomy, ENT, and Plastics
Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
Adhere to AORN Standards and facility policies and procedures
Participate in on-call assignments and scheduling rotations as required, with shift options including 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room experience
Demonstrated ability to circulate Trauma, General, Orthopedic, Neuro, and Vascular procedures
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Ability to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation
Preferred Experience / Skills
Minimum of 2 years of OR patient experience preferred
Experience with robotic surgical procedures (general, bariatric, or urologic) is a plus
Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
