    Registered Nurse – Circulator (Operating Room)

    Contract | Days | Onsite | On-call rotation required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Deliver safe, effective, and patient-family centered care in the operating room and across perioperative services for all patient populations
    • Implement the intraoperative plan of care, including patient positioning and safety, surgical counts, specimen management, medication administration, and infection prevention
    • Serve as patient advocate, protecting patient rights, dignity, privacy, and confidentiality throughout the continuum of care
    • Communicate patient status to relevant care team members and collaborate effectively across disciplines
    • Accurately and completely document all nursing care provided
    • Participate in on-call rotation for the Surgery Unit on a regularly scheduled basis; agency staff may be floated to other departments where qualified before core staff is floated
    Required Qualifications
    • Current RN license in the State of Oregon
    • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
    • TNCC certification required
    • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) at minimum
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain composure in a fast-paced surgical environment
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
    • CNOR certification or completion of Peri-op 101 course
    • Previous RN circulator experience
    • Scrub technician experience
