Contract | Days | Monday–Friday with rotating weekend, holiday, and on-call shifts per department guidelines
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room setting within an acute care hospital environment
- Adhere to department float and on-call rotation requirements, including weekends and holidays
- Maintain compliance with all facility background check standards and onboarding requirements, including completion of learning modules prior to assignment start
- Utilize electronic medical records systems and advanced patient care tools in a fully paperless environment
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe, high-quality perioperative patient care
Required Qualifications
- Active Arizona RN license in good standing (no disciplinary actions); license must be verified within the last 30 days
- Minimum of 24 months of Operating Room experience, with experience within the last 12 months
- Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Active PALS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Must reside outside of Arizona — Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems in a paperless hospital environment
- Experience in a high-volume or acute care surgical setting
