Travel – RN Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM | 3x12-hour or 4x10-hour shifts | 6–7 days plus 1 weekend per month
Key Responsibilities
- Function as an RN Circulator, responsible for positioning patients on the hospital bed, prepping, and positioning for surgery
- Monitor all equipment throughout surgical procedures including total joints, hip replacements, tibia and fibula surgeries, ankle and foot procedures, and mid-foot joint cases
- Support Plastics cases including breast reductions, expansions, breast reconstruction (DIEP flap), and Robotic XI and DV5 procedures
- Manage 4–5 cases per team per shift, collaborating with CSTs on Ortho, Plastics, and Podiatry procedures
- Fulfill on-call requirements, including 4–5 call days and trauma call coverage
- Float and share staff responsibilities between the Surgical Hospital and Alliance campus as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license with Operating Room / Circulator experience
- Demonstrated ability to position patients, prep surgical sites, and monitor OR equipment
- Minimum of 1 year of OR RN experience
- Willingness and ability to take trauma call at the main campus
Preferred Experience / Skills
- At least 3 years of experience as an OR Circulator
- Experience with Robotic surgical systems (XI and DV5)
- Availability without planned time-off requests during the assignment period
- Positive, hardworking attitude with strong adaptability in a fast-paced surgical environment
