Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 4x10s (6:30AM–5:00PM or 7:30AM–6:00PM) or 5x8s (7:00AM–3:30PM or 7:30AM–4:00PM) | On-site | Call requirement: 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room
- Perform circulating nurse duties across general and robotic surgical cases
- Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio within a 4-OR unit environment
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
- Fulfill on-call obligations as scheduled, including one day per week and one weekend per month
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Indiana
- Minimum of 2 years of operating room nursing experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Proficiency in circulating for general and robotic surgical cases
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
- Valid driver's license with permanent home address matching submitted ID
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner EMR documentation
- Familiarity with robotic-assisted surgical platforms and associated circulating responsibilities
- Prior travel nursing experience in a surgical services setting
