Job Title

Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR)

Fort Wayne, IN | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days | 4x10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM | On-call requirements expected 1–2 shifts per week, 5:00 PM–11:00 PM | Expected 72 hours bi-weekly

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate surgical cases across a variety of procedures within the operating room
• Manage all nursing care for patients undergoing surgery
• Observe the surgical team from a broad perspective to ensure safe and effective care delivery
• Assist the surgical team in creating and maintaining a safe, comfortable environment for each patient
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members throughout the perioperative process

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of operating room nursing experience
• Experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center required
• da Vinci robotic surgery experience required
• Neuro-spine and cranial surgical experience required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pediatric OR experience
• Orthopedic trauma experience
• Cerner EMR experience (not required to be considered)
