Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a multi-specialty OR environment with a 1:1 patient ratio
- Circulate and/or scrub across a variety of surgical procedures including angioplasty, appendectomy, biopsy, and orthopedic/spine cases
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia teams, CSTs, and ancillary staff to ensure safe and efficient surgical care
- Utilize standard OR equipment including Stryker video systems and document care using Meditech EMR
- Participate in on-call coverage as required, including one weekday evening per week (5:00 PM – 7:00 PM) and weekend on-call on a rotating basis approximately once every six weeks
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Colorado or compact state eligibility
- Minimum of 1 year of current hospital acute care experience in the Operating Room
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-specialty surgical environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience both circulating and scrubbing in a hospital OR setting
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
- Strong communication skills and adaptability to changing surgical environments with a focus on patient experience
