Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis
- Assume responsibility for ongoing patient evaluation and adjustment of care plans as needed
- Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care tasks have been delegated
- Support nursing leadership in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care
- Monitor and contribute to the competency of clinical staff within the unit
- Assist with appropriate resource management related to patient care
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Operating Room (OR) clinical experience required
- Ability to work night shifts
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a high-volume or acute care OR setting
- Experience with staff supervision or delegation in a clinical environment
