Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a multi-suite OR environment with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Scrub and/or circulate for a variety of surgical procedures including orthopedic (total joints and sports medicine), spine, neuro, vascular, general, bariatrics, robotics, and urology
• Operate and assist with surgical equipment and technology within the OR setting
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Participate in one weekday on-call shift per week as required
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams across day shift operations, including float team coverage as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure valid in the state of Texas (or compact eligibility)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of OR nursing experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in general and orthopedic surgical cases

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with cardiovascular (CV) surgical procedures
• Experience with da Vinci robotic-assisted surgery
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
