    Job Title

    Travel RN – Operating Room Circulator

    Location

    Crestview, FL | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 4x10s, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM | Rotating weekends | On-call required | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning of patient care in the operating room
    • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other personnel to deliver safe, high-quality patient care in accordance with State Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and applicable regulatory standards
    • Ensure availability of necessary supplies and maintain timeliness of surgical cases
    • Communicate with patient families and update physician preference cards as needed
    • Scrub and assist physicians during surgical cases as required
    • Participate in on-call coverage: expected 6–8 on-call shifts per month (approximately 1–2 per week); weeknight call runs 5:00 PM to 6:30 AM; weekend call is a 24-hour shift (Saturday or Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM)
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license valid in the state of Florida (or compact eligibility)
    • Minimum 2 years of experience as an OR Circulator
    • ACLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
    • BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
    • PALS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
    • Robotics experience required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior travel nursing experience in a surgical or perioperative setting
    • Familiarity with AORN standards and best practices in the operating room
    • Experience supervising or directing personnel delivering patient care in a surgical environment
