Contract | Days | 3x12s, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Expected 36 hours/week | On-site
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients in the operating room setting
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes throughout the surgical process
- Adhere to established protocols, sterile technique, and infection control standards during all OR procedures
- Participate in rotating on-call assignments, including approximately one backup call day every other week for the night shift and approximately one 24-hour weekend call shift per month, subject to change based on unit needs
Required Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Travel nursing experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an acute care or hospital-based operating room environment
- Familiarity with rotating call schedules in a surgical setting
