Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis
- Assume responsibility for patient care outcomes at the unit level
- Supervise staff to whom appropriate care has been delegated
- Support nursing leadership to ensure high quality and safe nursing care
- Monitor and manage appropriate resources related to patient care
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan or compact eligibility
- Operating Room clinical experience
- Demonstrated competency in clinical assessment and care planning
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with staff supervision and delegation in a surgical setting
- Familiarity with scrub and/or circulating roles in the OR
